Bonfire is on a mission to bring creativity back to work. We teach teams how to use empathy to solve problems and design conversations so diverse perspectives on teams can get heard and rapidly experiment as a way to learn how to make ideas succeed.

Bonfire trains teams to break through creative barriers. Our workshops are designed to lead teams to increase revenue through creating products, services and strategies that stand out and solve problems. Bonfire’s workshops are praised for their ability to unlock creative ideas across teams on tight time constraints.

Lisa believes everyone has great ideas — they simply need a path to being heard. She provides that path and has unlocked breakthrough ideas for higher education leaders creating new markets for their degrees, insurance professionals racing to get ahead of the customers’ needs and for non-profit leaders searching for ways to stretch their impact. Lisa also trains local and global emerging leaders in innovative leadership techniques, which include the ability to act with confidence, navigate ambiguity and listen to lead.

Lisa developed her signature training method at Stanford University, where she spent a year in residence in 2018 as part of a fellowship program in journalism, storytelling and innovation. Prior to Stanford, she built programs and products to increase and engage audiences at major media organizations across the U.S., including AOL and Gannett.

She also develops her current curriculum in creativity by writing and performing comedy. Lisa has been accepted into the Groundlings Core Track training program, a comedy school based in Los Angeles that has trained stars like Jimmy Fallon and Lisa Kudrow. She also has trained with The Second City in Chicago and has performed stand-up and improv across stages in Des Moines.

Lisa currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she loves adding sparkle to anything she can find using a BeDazzler wand, swimming, eating Thai food, making soup, thrifting, and singing hits from the ‘90s into her karaoke app.
